Welcome to the exciting universe of fine illustrated books and the diverse, multicultural designs in our International Design Library®! For over 30 years, Stemmer House has been enlisting fine artists, each deeply knowledgeable in particular cultures or periods, to produce books of authentic designs from many cultures, ethnic groups and periods. The black and white fine line designs reveal the “bones” of construction that colors would obscure, allowing artists to work them in may ways.
All designs in the International Design Library® books may be used in any manner without permission. However, no grouping of 15 or more designs in a single collection for commercial purposes, and no part of the text, may be used or reproduced in any manner whatsoever—digital, electrical, mechanical, including electronic reproduction, xerography, microfilm, recording and photocopying—without written permission, except in the case of brief quotations in critical articles and reviews. The book may not be reproduced as a whole, or in substantial part, without permission in writing from the publisher.
